An Excerpt from 'Zombie' by Ye Eun Won. Part One.

The sky was gloomy. The air was stuffy and a sudden green mist rose slowly from the graves. The town clock struck twelve times. It was midnight and everything was silent. A surprising rumble struck as a wolf howled and growled. The clouds spread apart and a glowing full moon appeared. The ground shook rapidly and the graves were quivering as a skinny bony hand scratched the air................... to be continued.

My Mum.

She works hard with help and sweat.
When I was born her heart was set.
She makes sure that I am good.
Treated well like I should.

She is always there in everything.
It's like she loves me more than anything.
I wake up to a day that is fine.
And I don't need to worry because she makes me shine.
